1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cold butter cubed
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
- In another bowl, mix the brown sugar and cubed cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the cake batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool. Meanwhile, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth to create a glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake, slice, and serve.
Notes
