2 cups graham cracker crumbs
12 tbsp butter
melted
½ cup powdered sugar
4 cups chopped apples (Golden Delicious or Honeycrisp)
⅓ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
2¼ tbsp flour
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
Store-bought caramel sauce
Optional: flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and powdered sugar until well mixed. Press mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, combine chopped apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until apples are evenly coated.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
- Drizzle store-bought caramel sauce generously over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden.
- If desired, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before serving.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into bite-sized pieces to serve.
